An e-zine is an online magazine. I have decided to reach out to the people that have been reaching out to me for news and
info and compile as much of it as possible in this magazine. I am not saying that this will be the definitive resource for
things to do, but we will list the events that are sparking the most imagination and creativity in the city! Those will be
our focus. Finding out what is going on and giving you the scoop.
This e-zine is an outlet for me. In an effort to keep my other project updated (allaboutthehookup.com) I have started sending
out weekly newsletters or bundled event flyers. They have been fairly effective, but you guys don't seem to be checking your
e-mails as regularly as I do, so I am going to post the events monthly along with the e-mails and the 2 ways. Information
is being gathered from the event promoters and other sources. As soon as I get it I will post it!
I frequent
quite a few venues in this city and in others and I am often saying to the people that I am with, "More people should
know about this." I have heard and made this statement, "Birmingham has a lot of cool things to do, you just have
to find them!" Birmingham will be our focus, but we will also have regional and national listings on here too!
Along with the event schedules, there will be the FORUM. This will be an expression of the chats that develop on those
relaxing evenings with friends. They will start out with the editors view, but will be expanded to include the most colorful
responses.
